UNIT:   LEARNING about FINANCES

 


PURPOSE:  To introduce students to real life situations.  Students will learn the purposes of financial institutions and the steps necessary to establish a banking account and how to use a bank.

 

DESCRIPTION:  Students will use teacher lecture, IC3 books, PowerPoint Presentations, and Online Resources to introduce the functions and abilities of computer software.

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES from the CTE DUTY/TASK LIST:

R.01 – Financial literacy will be demonstrated by exploring banks and financial institutes.
