UNIT:   PHOTOSHOP Chapter 3 – Making Selections

 


PURPOSE:  To introduce students to Adobe Photoshop and the manipulation of photographs to produce a finished product.  While learning to use the software, the student will also discuss job possibilities, career options, and the education needed to pursue a career in Graphic Design.

 

DESCRIPTION:  Students will use teacher lecture and Online Resources to discover the software program Adobe Photoshop.  They will learn to use the toolbars and tools available with the program and also discover the necessary skills to design a document with Photoshop.

 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES from the CTE DUTY/TASK LIST:

D.11 – Demonstrate knowledge of graphics software with text manipulation and file format conversion

G.02 – Apply problem solving techniques and/or critical thinking skills

c.      Do the Projects associated with selecting items in Photoshop

d.      Working the quiz for Layers and Selection Tools
