APRIL 17:  DEAR assignment – if you were absent for a school activity write down the Day’s Date and where you went for your activity.

 

APRIL 15:  PAYDAY - the day on which wages are given, payment is made, etc. or a day or period during which a great deal of money, success, fame, etc., is won or obtained

 

APRIL 13: INSTANT MESSAGING – a form of electronic communication that allows you to send and receive text message in “real time” from friends and colleagues who are currently online.

 

APRIL 10:  DEAR assignment – if you were absent for a school activity write down the Day’s Date and where you went for your activity. If you were here you should answer the questions 1) what is your favorite part of this book and 2) what is your favorite part of Easter.

 

APRIL 8:  OFFICE SKILLS BOOK – write down the items you would find on a withholding form.

 

APRIL 6:  Portfolio - a portable case for holding material, such as loose papers, photographs, or drawings or the materials collected in such a case, especially when representative of a person's work

APRIL 1:  APRIL FOOLS - celebrated on April 1, and marked by the playing of practical jokes on friends, family and co-workers.

 

MARCH 30:  SIMULATION - Acting out or mimicking an actual or probable real life condition, event, or situation to find a cause of a past occurrence (such as an accident), or to forecast future effects (outcomes) of assumed circumstances or factors. A simulation may be performed through (1) solving a set of equations (a mathematical model), constructing a physical (scale) model, (3) staged rehearsal, (4) game (such as wargames), or a computer graphics model (such as an animated flowchart).

 

MARCH 26 – DEAR assignment – If you were NOT at school on Friday, write the word ABSENT. If you were at school and worked 10 minutes of Keytrain – it should have today’s date and next to it have the word KEYTRAIN!

 

MARCH 25 - SLIDE LAYOUT – Also called slide type. Depending on the type of presentation you are creating you may use several different slide layouts which include: title slides, bulleted list slides, text content slides and “Other Layouts” which include charts, graphs, videos, and clip art.

MARCH 23 - LEARNING - The act, process, or experience of gaining knowledge or skill. Knowledge or skill gained through schooling or study.
